Simulation Engineer - Defence (w/m/x)
- You are responsible for the coordination of simulation tasks with the Simulation Department
- You are in charge of the technical calculation of components and assemblies of internal combustion engines
- You perform thermal, static and dynamic, linear and nonlinear FEM calculations
- You ensure the optimization of components in terms of weight, stiffness, resistance and fatigue life
- You generate FE calculation models using commercial FEM software (ANSYS) as well as fatigue life assessment of components (FEMFAT)
- You organize and monitor calculations performed externally
- You determine the experimental validation procedures, assess the obtained results, and correlate the simulation models
- You evaluate the results and prepare the calculation reports
- You have successfully completed studies (university/ technical college) in the field of mechanical engineering or similar field (aerospace engineering, applied physics, etc.)
- You have good FEM software and material fatigue knowledge
- You possess several years of professional experience as structural engineer
- You have a good level in English, German and/or French would be a plus
- You have a good command of ANSYS and FEMFAT, advanced knowledge in MS Office, and you are familiar with CREO
- You demonstrate strong analytical skills with an innovative and structured mindset
- You are willing to work in a multidisciplinary team
