Your mission:

To reinforce the Synechron Switzerland team, we are seeking for a passionate DevOps professional to accelerate software product delivery and enhance reliability. Responsibilities include keeping the team informed about development progress and embracing end-to-end software development principles, particularly Agile frameworks.

Our mission is for one of our clients, a very well-established bank private bank in Geneva.

Your responsibilities:

• Facilitating the seamless promotion of code from our software factory to production while prioritizing automated processes and maintaining high solution quality.
• Implementing cutting-edge analytics and monitoring capabilities to offer both prescriptive and predictive insights.
• Developing code for various infrastructure, quality assurance, configuration, and security components.
• Troubleshooting production issues, conducting root-cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional team members to propose effective solutions.
• Providing ongoing guidance to software engineers on operational challenges, ensuring software implementations are robust for production environments.
• Promoting data-driven decision-making and identifying key metrics for informed decision-making.

Your profile and skills:

• You justify a Master's degree in Technology or equivalent.
• You show in-depth software engineering knowledge and expertise; firm advocate of automation, infrastructure as code and XaaS.
• You possess substantial experience with JVM technologies, features and constraints.
• You are experienced with microservices and APIs.
• You possess knowledge of containers and orchestrators like Docker and Kubernetes.
• You are proficient in one or more general-purpose programming languages Python, Java, Java scripting, or database development (SQL, Sybase / Oracle) or no SQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
• You possess software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement.
• You are interested in finance; good financial knowledge would be an advantage.
• You have hands-on experience with agile methodologies.
• You have the capacity to work independently, you have excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• You speak English and French.
• You are a Swiss resident or would like to become one.
