Job Requirements

We are seeking an ambitious and passionate Senior Group Consolidation Accountant to join our Group Accounting-Team as soon as possible, on an 80-100% workload.

For this role, we are looking for an engaged and motivated person who likes to be responsible for Group consolidation processes and working on various projects.

Your main tasks

• Responsible for ensuring the highest quality of consolidated financial information and run the Group's monthly consolidation process

• Close cooperation within the Group Finance in dealing with any accounting or reporting issue at Group level

• Work on Group specific projects, e.g. integration of new Group companies, merger activities, software upgrades, new accounting standards implementation, etc.

• Responsible as System Administrator for Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) consolidation software

• Maintenance of the Group consolidation system (master data administration, implementation of changes in the Group structure, development of reports, etc)

• Support and maintain development of interfaces with local ERP systems (namely Microsoft Dynamics D365)

Your profile

• You have 3-5 years of experience in a big four preferably with international clients would be a strong plus AND 3-5 years of experience in consolidation (accounting) in an international environment

• You have completed a higher education (University, University of Applied Science) advanced degree in accounting (i.e. Swiss certified specialist for finance, Eidg. Buchhalter / Controller, CPA)

• You bring a strong knowledge in IFRS, accounting and consolidation

• You provide excellent technical skills in MS-Office excel and consolidation tools, experience with HFM or D365 would be advantageous

• You are a strong team player, independent, pro-active with hands-on-mentality and you maintain an open communication

• You are able to stay calm under pressure and capable of adapting to ever changing environment

• Your way of working is precise and detail oriented, but you are also able to see the big picture

• You are fluent in German and English; any other languages are always welcome
