In this challenging position you will hold a key role in an international matrix- structured team, driven by a globaI market with vast opportunities for our client’s high-quality products used for purification and separation processes. The typical industries served by the various business units cover chemical & petrochemical applications, industrial and medical oxygen generation, and industrial markets such as refrigeration drying, coatings, air brakes or packaging. Your activities focus on coordinating and advancing the sales, inventory and operations planning process in close alignment with the business units and the manufacturing sites in the US, China, and Bosnia- Herzegovina. You develop and implement tailor-made materials management strategies for the different business segments thus ensuring a high delivery performance with minimum inventory levels and optimal capacity utilization. With your solid knowledge in supply chain management and an in- depth understanding of the daily business challenges you monitor the supply chain performance in order to identify and execute improvement projects. You must expect overall international travel activities of approximately 10-20%. You will be based at the Swiss headquarters reporting to the Head of Operations.

A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a comparable education with a minimum of 5 years of experiences in a similar function in an international manufacturing environment is required. You have a good understanding of supply chain processes and hands-on knowledge in materials management. You are a pragmatic self-starter and motivator with a high customer orientation, solid analytical skills and a structured approach to work. Consulting experience would be of advantage but not a must. You enjoy relationship building across cultural boundaries and you display strong collaboration and interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to be put in use when interacting with business units and their senior managers as well as external stakeholders. Sound knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP software are a must, a good general IT literacy will help you. You are an experienced user of the MS Office software package, and you have very good communication and negotiation skills in English, and ideally German.
