With the future completion of our fill and finish facility we will be able to carry out all parts of the value chain in vaccine manufacturing, and as part of this progressive journey we are now looking for a Business Manager, RoW (f/m/d).
Sustainable and profitable growth
You will become part of our lean, strong and diverse commercial team which we are strengthening even further with this position. Currently, we are a team of 15 people who strive to bring innovative solutions to both our customers and patients and since this is department is of strategic importance, we expect the team to increase with more talents. Our goal is to demonstrate sustainable and profitable growth and expand our commercial portfolio. You will report to the Sr. Director, RoW who is one of four senior commercial directors in Bavarian Nordics and who reports directly to the CCO.
Defining the commercial setup
Your main target will be, together with the Sr. Director RoW, to ensure the markets in the RoW-region are turned into operational efficient profit centres. To ensure this, you will among other areas be the main driver of:
Strategic market analyses and turning these into specific action plans
Business model creation for commercial partner- or distributor setups in approximately 20 different geographical markets
Strategic support to internal stakeholders e.g. Sr. Director RoW, the wider Commercial Leadership Team or the Executive Management Team
Communication/collaboration with external and internal stakeholders
Develop, implement and execute on monthly reporting tasks
Travel days/year: Approx. 40
Top performing business profile with a strong commercial toolbox
We are looking for a candidate with a master’s in business, finance or similar and who has a strong business understanding with a high level of execution focus, ranging from strategic to operational level. You have a strong commercial toolbox and are a proactive business profile with experience in high paced cross-functional execution. You have the seniority to make decisions and make sure they are executed.
You have a highly developed ability to analyse and differentiate large volumes of complex data and use the findings to actively advise C-level management on possible challenges and measures to counter these.
There are different ways into this position, and it would be an advantage if you previously have been working in Management Consulting, preferably towards the Life science industry. Another interesting way could be from a big pharma company combined with work in an international environment, where you have had experience in a demanding environment with changing priorities. You must keep a clear focus on business strategy and be agile at adapting solutions accordingly.
