We develop, produce and sell high-quality abrasives as well as customer-oriented system solutions to achieve perfect surfaces. Our products refine the surfaces of watches, cars, airplanes, designer furniture and much more.

As an application engineer, you are the link to our customers and actively shape our next product innovations. Specifically this means:

• As part of our product management team, you will advise our woodworking customers with your technical expertise on the optimal use of our abrasives.
• In our modern training and testing center, you will develop new test procedures and regularly carry out performance comparison tests.
• Your tasks will also include conducting our product training, either locally or on site at customers worldwide.
• As part of new product developments, you actively bring valuable input to the development team based on customer feedback, market observations and your technical know-how.
• Participation in various marketing and launch activities as well as the creation of new training materials and technical documentation, among other things, round off the job profile.

• Education: Completed apprenticeship as a carpenter (or similar field)
• Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in this field. Experience in an office or direct customer contact is an advantage. If you have no experience here but are very interested, we would be happy to support you on your way into this exciting field of activity.
• Know-how: Basic knowledge of common Microsoft Office programs.
• Personality and way of working: Solution-oriented way of working, good communication skills and a high degree of independence.
• Willingness to travel: Openness to regular business trips to national and international customers as well as trade fairs.
• Language: Good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written.
