We Offer…

An exciting role as a Sales Coordinator for Bedoukian Research Switzerland, located in Plan-les-Ouates, and an affiliate of Bedoukian Research Inc, a company headquartered in Danbury, Connecticut, USA. Under the direct supervision of the Global Sales Director, this position provides administrative support for the Global Sales Director and the Sales Department. This includes, coordination of meetings and conferences, supporting the sales team, coordinating and scheduling travel arrangements for the sales staff, working closely with other departments, Marketing, QC and Customer Service and promoting customer satisfaction.

Sales Coordinator

This involves a range of activities including:

  • Schedules and organizes complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for all members of the department.
  • Schedule, plan and coordinate travel arrangements for the sales team.
  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Acts as project manager for special projects which may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct correspondences.
  • Supports market data analyst in maintenance of the department finances. Activities include processing payable travel reimbursement, documenting corporate credit card expenses to accounting department.
  • Helping the sales team to improve their productivity by contacting customers to arrange appointments and ensuring the Sales Team has high-quality, up-to-date support material.
  • Handling urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales management members are unavailable, answering customer queries, informing them of delays, arranging delivery dates, and scheduling marketing events.
  • Working with the Customer Service team checking the orders have the correct prices, discounts, and product numbers.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently.
  • Developing and maintaining filing systems so as to maintain sales records, prepare reports, fill out customer tenders and prepare price lists, analyze forecasts, and provide financial information to the finance department if needed. Understands and complies with all BRI safety, environmental, food safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs related work as assigned.

You Offer…

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Two or more years’ experience in sales and/or sales support.
  • Prior experience as a sales coordinator or within administration is preferable.
  • Good team-oriented spirit.
  • Computer literacy, especially in Excel.
  • Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
  • The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English a plus.
