ESG Data Analyst / ESG Data Controller
Location: Männedorf, Switzerland
Your contribution:
In this challenging and important role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and implementing a robust ESG reporting framework tailored to the med tech industry. Your responsibility is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of ESG data by implementing rigorous data collection, validation, and verification processes. Additionally, you will analyze ESG metrics to identify strengths, weaknesses, and improvement areas.
- Assess and report on the company's environmental impact, including energy consumption, waste management, and carbon emissions.
- Extend ESG analysis to the company's supply chain, evaluating suppliers' sustainability practices and ensuring responsible sourcing.
- Assess the impact of the company's products and services on environmental and social factors, contributing to the development of more sustainable offerings.
Your responsibilities:
- Gather, consolidate, and validate ESG data from various sources.
- Collaborate with departments to compile environmental, social, and governance data.
- Utilize statistical and analytical techniques to identify patterns and trends in ESG data.
- Analyze key performance indicators related to ESG metrics.
- Prepare regular reports and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on ESG regulations and standards for compliance monitoring.
- Assist in implementing ESG reporting tools and processes.
- Integrate ESG data with financial data for comprehensive performance analysis.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to address inquiries and provide information on ESG performance.
- Identify areas for improvement in ESG data collection and reporting processes.
Your background:

- Master’s level degree in Sustainability, Finance and Accounting or Business Administration
- Preference will be given to candidates holding a recognized professional certification in accounting and/or ESG.
- At least 5 years post qualification experience within Sustainability reporting, public reporting, Internal controls or a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Proven experience in the field of ESG Reporting in a company with similar size, scope, and complexity.
- Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of German is advantageous
- Ability to research and solve accounting, reporting, and operational issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop solutions to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
- Outstanding communication skills and change- and project management skills and experience.
