This position is responsible for supporting in the execution of workshop or aircraft cabin installation projects to achieve budget, safety, quality, and on-time delivery targets, for Electro Installation.
- Responsible for the quality of their products to accepted airworthiness standards
- Understand compliance to standard Jet Basel procedures and practices to achieve our JBSL quality standards requirements
- Able to select correct tooling and hardware to perform terminations and correct routing/harness practices
- Ensures the?correct controlled documentation is used when jobs?are?performed on the project in accordance with the relevant processes
- Ensures good communication with the aircraft or shop team lead and within the team.
- Able to correctly perform and trouble shoot continuity tests with support
- Report problems and errors found during modifications and product development & prototyping.
- Responsible for the traceability of his/her products and tasks achievement
- Responsible of the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area
- Follows environmental and safety regulations
- Informs Leads on daily basis about the job progression and issue(s).
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
- Support PRIN in executing tasks in accordance with Projects needs and schedule adherence
- Aviation apprenticeship or extensive equivalent experience in high standard electro installations and JA experience assessment
- Able to work alone un-supervised, or in a team for collective output in a jig, shop or Live aircraft environment
- Able to interpret and follow instructions on Electro Dwgs/EILs/WDM/hookup charts/standard practices and OEM documentation
- Skilled in building different types of connectors and special terminations (Terminal board, CB Panels) to airworthiness standards
- Understanding the importance of temperature and vibration zones
- Basic level of English minimum A1 (A2 preferred), regardless must be able to read and understand Engineering data and maintenance tasks in English manuals.
- Understanding of EWIS, fuel tank safety, CDCCL, etc
- Able to follow and comply with OEM Service Bulletins and AMM tasks with relevant effectivity
- PC literate with MS packages and ability to use SAP and PLM systems
- Sense of responsibility and ownership for safety, quality, delivery, cost and people
