Headquartered in Duillier near Nyon, Synova is the pioneer of a revolutionary hybrid laser processing technology – Laser MicroJet®. Synova provides state-of-the-art high precision material processing in the diamond, watch making, tooling and semiconductor industry as well as for aviation and aerospace manufacturing, medical micro-machining, and diamond toolmaking.

To support Synova’s activities, we are looking for a

In this position you will:

- Develop, maintain and extend drivers for Synova’score technologyand peripherals (pumps, lasers, sensors...)

- Serve as the primary interface with both internal and external stakeholders for the software integration of the core technology and peripherals into their machines.

- Participate to R&D projects (such as new sensor development, Machine Learning, Industry 4.0)

- Coordinatethe workflow for the team of 3- 4 engineers.

For this position, we are looking for candidates with the following profile:

- MSc/BSc HES/EPF in Microtechnic, Mechanical, Electronic, Informatics, or equivalent.

- Background in software engineering with knowledge of C# (WPF, .NET Framework).

- Ease with standard communication protocols (TCP/IP, serial line, ...)

- Experience in an industrial environment an asset

- Excellent communication skills in French, with a good command of English.

- Open-minded and innovation-focused.

- Ready to travel (app. 10% of the time)

- CH/Valid work permit (EU).
