Founded in 1924, the Foundation of the International School of Geneva, commonly known as Ecolint educates 4500 students aged from 3-18 representing over 130 nationalities. To complete our team at WLP department, we are looking for a:
Part-time: 9 periods in the World Language programme
We are looking for an enthusiastic German Teacher for our WLP programme. The post holder will be a passionate and dynamic teacher, able to inspire students through a variety of creative teaching styles, teaching German IB
Reporting line:
The post holder is reporting to the WLP coordinator
Responsibilities:
- To teach German as a foreign or native language to all levels in the WLP programme.
- To attend regular Department meetings
- To regularly assess the progress of students and record and report those results to parents
Candidate requirements:
Professional experience required:
- have a strong experience of teaching German to MYP, DP and IB students
- have experience of working in an international school
Personal attributes required:
- native or near-native proficiency in German;
- excellent classroom management and organisational skills;
- be able to manage resources efficiently so that teaching and learning is effectively supported;
- have an ability to work in French and English;
- ensure curriculum entitlement and progression is achieved for all students;
- good communication skills with colleagues and parents.
