What are we looking for? A talented Methods & Process Engineer who will be the main liaison between development and production teams. You develop, implement and train production staff in all production methods and practices you have optimized. You will be in charge of analyzing customer needs (internal and external) and conceptualizing the most efficient industrialization processes in terms of feasibility, operational excellence while ensuring compliance with EHS, quality and costs. You work closely with the production staff, R&D team as well as with the quality department in order to ensure the operational and industrial link under mass production constraints, operational excellence rules, and customer needs and requirements.
How to be successful in this position? With the team you will be responsible to industrialize and implement our current and new products. You are able to implement all best lean manufacturing practices and methodologies, seeking for the best technical & economical solutions to optimize production costs (reduce consumption of raw materials). You use statistical methodologies and technics to develop manufacturing process control system. You have participated in defining EHS rules at the station, set up inventory management tools at the line (tools and parts). You have planned and overseen tests in relation with stakeholders to validate the data and hypotheses established during the design of manufacturing ranges (automated and manual). You are able to identify new means of production through technological watch. You have assessed manufacturing processes and provided technical support to production. You can analyse dysfunctions and participate in the implementation of a continuous improvement approach based on operator experience. Last but not least, you have carried out feasibility studies to adapt the production tool to new commercial demands and / or new products launch. You have written operating procedures for manufacturing activities (technical files, reports, procedures, manufacturing ranges, time, etc.), as well as training materials.
What do you need to be instrumental in this role? A degree (Bachelor or Master) in the field of Microtechnic engineering or equivalent, and a relevant hands-on experience of at least 3 years in industrial automation and process design in production plant and with new products launch. You have an excellent knowledge in Lean manufacturing as well as EHS. You have a very good command of French and English. An experience working in a start-up is a real plus.
