Documentalist for the Paris 2024 Games - (80%)
Would you like to take part in the Olympic experience? Do you enjoy working with photos and videos? The IOC is looking for a team of experienced documentalists. The documentalists will perform the necessary daily tasks needed to efficiently catalogue and index the photo and/or video archives produced during the Olympic Games Paris 2024 this summer!

What will I do?
- Cataloguing and/or indexing (generally or in detail, depending on the collection) the IOC video and/or photo archives relating to the Olympic Games Paris 2024 and the editing of titles and legends in French and English.
- The main subjects will be the sports events and ceremonies, the President’s activities and the IOC’s institutional activities, sponsor images, the organisation of the Games and the atmosphere in the city.
- Carrying out personal and / or peer-to-peer quality controls.
- Creating progress reports to the team coordinator, with a view to monitoring quality and meeting deadlines.
What will I bring?
- HES Bachelor’s degree in document information, document information agent CFC (with experience in cataloguing or indexing) or equivalent training.
- Professional experience of working in an audio-visual/photo archives section and/or collections management section an asset.
- Good command of IT tools (PC environment; Word and Excel 2010) and digital media management software.
- Good knowledge of and interest in sport generally, and the Olympic Movement in particular.
- Languages: French (Fluent) and English (advanced level for photo documentation).
What will the recruitment process be like?
- Candidates who are selected from the first screening of CVs will be invited to a virtual 30-minute interview via Teams. Here, candidates will get to meet with the Hiring Manager and the Recruiter.
- The next stage of the recruitment process for successful candidates will be to meet the HR Business Partner in charge of the department for an additional interview.
- Finalists who are successful in both rounds of interviews will then be contacted and receive an offer for the role!
