Job Description

As an Application Analyst you will contribute to the continued development, operation, and support of Private markets applications in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• Detect and analyze problems within the private markets' application landscape; suggest and develop resolution plans;

• Laise with business stakeholders for implementing continuous process improvements through well thought-through technology solutions;

• Manage end to end the lifecycle of business applications (new product releases, software and infrastructure upgrades, decommissioning of unused components etc.);

• Ensure high availability and stability of Private Markets applications by leveraging best in class system monitoring tools;

• Maintain and improve the technical documentation of private market applications, produce system requirement specifications for desired business changes, document functional and non-functional test cases per application;

• Provide technical support to users where necessary and liaise with product vendors to solve incidents on operational level;

• Collaborate with hardware, DBA and various other technical teams to ensure proper integration of infrastructure environments;

• Actively support business stakeholders on achieving and maintaining high data quality within the Private Markets domain.

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master's degree or equivalent higher education in Information Technology, Data Engineering or similar;
• Self-motivated, proactive, takes ownership and shows initiative to drive things forward;
• In-depth knowledge and several years of hands-on experience in supporting, customizing and developing applications in the Financial Services area
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with independent, highly structured and goal-oriented working style;
• Strong knowledge on SQL, VBA, Powershell;
• Familiarity with REST API development and Microsoft Azure Platform;
• Knowledge of FIS Investran and Hazeltree or other accounting / payment applications is a plus;
• Strong communication skills in English, German is an advantage.
