Your tasks
Development of embedded software (C, C++) for rechargeable hearing aids

Object-oriented design of multitasking real-time embedded software

Specification and implementation of the power management and related software components for battery-powered systems

Development of scripts (Python) and tests (C#, C, C++) for deploying and verifying the developed functionalities

Integration of new hardware components into the Sonova embedded software platform

Identification of power-saving optimization opportunities with subsequent integration into the embedded software

Agile software development, code reviews and interdisciplinary collaboration (with interfaces to verification, production, electronic design, battery technologies, requirement engineering)
Your profile
University degree (MSc / BSc) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

2+ years' experience in the development of embedded software for complex electronic systems (incl. microcontrollers); good understanding of low-level low-power / resource-limited computation

Experience in C, object-oriented C++ and UML

Knowledge in software development for battery / power management and battery-powered systems (incl. measurement instrumentation) is a plus

Experience in continuous integration and automated test frameworks is a plus

Systematic approach, strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Reliable team player, willing to work in an interdisciplinary team

Fluent in English, German is a plus
