As a Solutions Architect you will be primarily responsible for the Solution Architecture for both custom built and custom off the shelf IT solutions. This will include a wide range of technologies such as Java/JEE, .net and cloud-based technologies and integration tools, such as AWS and Mulesoft.

You will act as the expert for solutions and products, and for the projects and enhancements, create high level designs documents and will be a subject matter expert of all aspects of Solution Architecture. You need to understand, define and recommend coding best practices and integration options, including middleware products such as Biztalk, Mulesoft, Azure, Salesforce and AWS amongst others.

You will:

Design key technical components for various IT solutions and own the end to end technical implementation.

Ensure the technical design aligns to overall enterprise architecture and scales with it in the near future and define technical best practices for the implementation

You are expected to have a proven background in various integration options such as Mulesoft, Salesforce, SAP. You will develop, communicate, maintain and enforce the overall architecture (applications, data, integration, etc) of the systems with each project.

You will also contribute to the enterprise architecture team with accountability for system architecture and governance across the business and its IT suppliers ensuring the end to end integrity of the solution. You will also provide overall design principles for software and hardware integration, performance design, reliability design, manageability design and security design.

Responsible for producing the appropriate level of formal architecture and design documentation, you will work closely with project management and development teams to assist the planning and review of project schedules, project reviews, project sizing and gap analysis.

Your technical knowledge

You are expected to have expertise in: Java/JEE; Web services & SOAP/REST; Cloud based technologies around SaaS, Paas, Iaas; ERP/CRM architectures/solutions.

Previous experience working with Microsoft and recent assignments working as a Solution Architect. You are expected to have experience in both bespoke software development, integration and configuration of commercial off-the-shelf products.

You will be at ease delivering solutions in an Agile (Scrum) methodology and used to working on customs solutions rather than simple plug-and-play.

Fluency in English is essential for this role.

You will be based in Geneva for at least 3 days per week, so full remote working is not possible for this position.
