Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, including managing complex files and implementing efficient workflows.
- Ability to make quick adjustments to Adobe Illustrator files (and other types of files) on the spot, under the guidance of the Design Manager
- Creative thinker adept at conceptualising and developing innovative design solutions.
- Proven track record in translating graphic design concepts into tangible, marketable products, demonstrating a deep understanding of brand integration.
- Strong understanding of branding principles and trend research, with a focus on enhancing Varlion's visual identity through graphic design projects such as brand cooperative image, web design (front end), catalogues, and product imagery.
- Demonstrable experience in web design, emphasizing engaging digital graphics for web platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that designs align with Varlion's innovative vision and brand identity.
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to create technical data sheets, maintaining seamless communication with suppliers throughout the design process.
- Craft engaging digital graphics for web platforms, including web design and banners.
- Execute print production projects, such as catalogs, flyers, and promotional materials, with a focus on offline graphic design.
- Conduct trend research to inform design decisions and contribute to Varlion's position as an industry leader.
Additional Skills:
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in file management.
- Proficiency in WordPress is preferred.
- Knowledge of product photography and video animation is advantageous.
