The *Director of LED-Solutions* is a strategic leadership position responsible for spearheading the research, development, and implementation of new LED solutions tailored specifically for the dynamic and high-performance requirements of sports events with an additional focus on Ice Hockey. This role demands a profound understanding of the latest advancements in LED technology and the ability to integrate these innovations seamlessly into the sports event landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership in Sports LED Innovations:

Provide visionary leadership in the identification and integration of new LED technologies for sports events, enhancing the overall spectator experience.

Innovative LED Product Development:

Lead a technical team in researching, designing, and developing advanced LED products customized for sports arenas and stadiums.

Integration with Sports Infrastructure:

Collaborate with architects, venue operators, and technology teams to seamlessly integrate advanced LED solutions into sports venue infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance during events.

Real-time LED Operation:

Oversee the real-time operation of LED solutions during live sports events, ensuring flawless execution and addressing technical challenges promptly.

Fan Engagement Technologies:

Spearhead the implementation of interactive LED displays, dynamic lighting, and immersive experiences to enhance fan engagement during sports events.

Collaboration with Technology Partners:

Build and nurture partnerships with technology providers and vendors to stay at the forefront of emerging LED technologies and integrate them into sports event solutions.

Technical Documentation and Training:

Develop comprehensive technical documentation for LED products and conduct training sessions to ensure the technical team is well-versed in the latest advancements.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that all LED solutions comply with safety standards, regulations, and guidelines specific to the sports industry.

Qualifications:

- Novastar certified engineer

- Completed technical education and/or 10 years of work experience in the field of LED solutions.

- Fluent in German and English.

- Flexibility to travel.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects from conception to implementation.

- Strong knowledge and interest in LED-technologies and a willingness to learn about emerging trends.

- Visionary thinking and the ability to align innovative solutions with broader organizational goals.

- Experience in fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.

- In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in the sports event landscape.
