Position Summary

To complete our Audiovisual Conference Management department, at Nestlé Headquarters, we are looking for a Conference Management Specialist. In this position, you will participate in the organization, preparation and implementation of conferences and events involving audiovisual in Switzerland.

A Day in the Life of a Conference Management Specialist

  • Handle conferences management, including preparation, live operation and debriefing
  • Handle meetings and conferences from an audiovisual point of view, including sound, video, lights and content management
  • Advise requestors on how best to handle preparation with advices on "ways of doing"
  • Execute Nestlé Companies or Departments daily audiovisual conference requirements, ensuring a smooth execution
  • Ensure proper functioning and availability of the audiovisual equipment
  • Master the management of audio and video mixer, lighting console, live broadcast and duplex production
  • Guide and support in the preparation of events, define needs, rehearsal schedules and provide information
  • Collaborate with the different departments in order to respond to new needs
  • Keep up to date with new trends in audio technology, lighting console and video streaming

What will make you successful

  • Relevant education in audiovisual, sound-engineer/video technician or any related field
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar position within a big company or in the event industry
  • Proven experience in conference management for key conferences and large audiences
  • Deep experience in audio mixer configuration and lights console configuration
  • Knowledge in video mixer usage and live streaming tools and configuration
  • Ability to work under pressure and to cover different roles
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills with a sense of business/technical interrelationships
