The role:

In the role as Marketing and Sales Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for developing the marketing strategy as well as supporting the sales growth strategy in the region. In addition, you will be part of the Operational Committee and work jointly with your counterpart from the German-speaking part of Switzerland. Furthermore, you will be managing a team of two, a Key Account Manager and a Sales Representative. Key duties and responsibilities: 

  • Defining an innovative and individualized sales and growth strategy that incorporates local and global targets for the Swiss French market
  • Responsibility for defining the marketing strategy and the execution of it for Swiss French-speaking part
  • Actively working operationally as Key Account Manager with wholesalers, hospitals, pharmacist groups and –chains
  • Ensuring linkage to internal organization through active role in operational committees
  • Responsible for sales and earnings growth and smooth collaboration with partners
  • Identification of customer needs while considering the market potential and existing resources

 

Your profile:  

  • Several years’ experience in a marketing department of a pharmaceutical company with deep knowledge in branding, customer value and further strategical topics is a must
  • Proven sales experience with track-record
  • Solid experience in market development and expansion as well as existing budget and P&L responsibilities within a Sales/Marketing business unit
  • Several years of leadership experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the OTC market or potentially even the generic market is necessary
  • Excellent French knowledge and fluent in German and/or English is mandatory
