SMG is looking for a proactive and energetic Intern to support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team for a minimum of six months starting as soon as possible.
At SMG, the FP&A department plays a critical role in shaping the future of the organization. Our team specializes in forecasting and planning, providing valuable insights to support the decision-making process of each SMG business unit. We work closely with top management, offering analytical support and ensuring the financial well-being of the entire SMG Group.

Our ideal candidate is interested and passionate about digital trends and innovative business models. Great communication skills and eagerness to discover, learn and grow will support your application and help you succeed in this position.
These are your tasks:
- Implement PowerBI financial reporting
- Develop and enhance the content for monthly finance business reviews to executive board and external shareholders
- Support the analysis of cost trends and articulate related cause and effect
- Support FP&A team in standardising processes
- Adhoc support of wider SMG FP&A team
This is what you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, economics or comparable study
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and reflection skills
- Independence in managing your tasks, proactivity, open mind, assertiveness
- Ability to work in a team and under strict deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and their G-Suite (Google Workspace) equivalents is required
- Knowledge of PowerBI, SQL, Python, R or anything similar is a strong asset
- Relevant practical experience through first internships is a plus
- Business fluent in English
