For our customer, the Swiss local subsidiary of a globally active pharmaceutical company with its offices in the Zurich area we are searching a
Reporting to the Head of Market Access, Switzerland, you will be leading and implementing market access strategy for product(s) ensuring optimal access, pricing, and reimbursement outcomes. You will be responsible for reimbursement submission and negotiation with authorities engaging in strong long-term relationships with payers and their influencers.
Your main tasks
Market Access Strategy
- Develop and implement the Swiss market access strategy for product(s)’ in collaboration with the cross-functional team and in alignment with corporate strategy
- Contribute to the development of the Swiss business strategy through working with Lead Head of Market Access and Brand Teams
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of drug portfolio and pipeline in defined areas to initiate and support market access strategies to obtain formulary access for the company’s products
Pricing & Reimbursement
- Lead the reimbursement process for products to maximize market access
- Participate in meetings and negotiations with national Healthcare authorities and health insurers for obtaining and maintaining market access
- Develop and write reimbursement submissions with support from the cross-functional team
- Monitor and anticipate Healthcare trends and changes, analyzing the market, competitors, message (that differentiate the company’s product from competitors), prices and access
- Develop, in collaboration with project teams, pricing, reimbursements, and business cases for forecasting and strategic decision-making
- Art. 71 KVV Management and Negotiations with health insurances
Value Demonstration
- Provide expertise with respect to the local payer value-based information needs
- Monitor real-world and economic evidence generated for assigned products and communicates date to internal and external stakeholders
- Propose initiation of projects or database use to collect local evidence to optimize and maintain patient access, in collaboration with Medical and the cross-functional teams
- Monitor regulatory environment for relevant developments concerning Health Technology Assessment (HTA) & RWE
Effective team and cross-functional working internally and externally
- Develop effective and constructive working relationships throughout the Market Access Team and with the Medical and Marketing teams
- Create, build, and maintain a solid network and value-based partnerships within the HC/market access setting and their key influencers, BAG/Health insurances
- Organize and attend meetings with key stakeholder groups achieving best-in-class customer focus with dedicated time for and regular interactions with customers
Your profile
- University degree in Medicine, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, (Health) Economics, Law or similar
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with market access projects and submission of reimbursement dossiers
- Good project management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills to work within an x-functional team
- Team and solution-oriented collaboration
- Agile working style and driving innovation
- Ability to work independently
- Mother tongue German and fluent in English
