You provide legal support to Schindler's Trademark Team, with particular focus on trademark prosecution.

Main tasks include:

• Trademark Searches and Clearance

• Preparing and filing Trademark Applications before IGE and WIPO

• Replying to Office Actions issued by IGE and WIPO

• Corresponding with foreign IP firms to deal with Office Actions and Oppositions

• Attending Trademark Watch

• Drafting or reviewing cease and desist letters, Prior Rights Agreements, letters of consent

• Optimizing trademark portfolio e.g. through replacement, seniority claims

You have the ability to work independently, with foresight, in a structured and conscientious manner. You are a team player, accountable, pragmatic and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Further requirements include:

• Law Degree, possibly with an Intellectual Property Rights orientation

• At least 5 years' experience as a Trademark Attorney either inhouse, in the private practice or in IP organizations

• Sound knowledge of the trademark registrations procedures and regulations before IGE and WIPO

• Familiar with the most commonly used trademark search and monitoring tools

• Excellent communication and writing skills

• Fluent in English and German, French is an advantage
