GXP CONSULTING Switzerland is a swiss consulting company with a passioned team of Life Sciences professionals. Since 2014 we deliver outstanding industry’s expertise and support to our clients in the complete range of product life cycle in the following areas:

Quality Assurance, Qualification/Validation, Regulatory Affairs, Operational Excellence, Engineering, Manufacturing and Maintenance and Project Management.


In order to continue to successfully support our clients, we are currently actively looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in Life Sciences sectors:

About the job:

  • You report to the CEO and are accountable for generating business and managing your own P&L
  • You develop new businesses for GXP CONSULTING Switzerland via various lead generation channels and you develop existing business relations with the existing customers
  • You manage and execute the entire end-to-end selling process: initial lead inquiry, qualification of opportunities, requirements gathering, project scope definition, effort estimation, proposal development, SOW creation, contract negotiation and closing
  • You identify, hire, and manage your own consultants / experts and ensure they are meeting their career development objectives
  • You implement strategies to grow the assigned market segment
  • You ensure that deliverables are compliant with client's expectations and business profitability/objectives
  • You develop and manage key relationships with clients to drive additional new business and provide proper communication on account activity.

About you:

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering (Industry, Life Sciences or equivalent) or a Master's degree from a business school
  • You possess significant experience in business development with the major Swiss players in the Life Sciences or Engineering consulting industry
  • You possess excellent negotiation, collaboration and team-building skills
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills,
  • You are a “hunter” who loves to target and open new accounts which expand GXP CONSULTING Switzerland client base and who loves to close a deal
  • You like to be challenged, you achieve and even go beyond your objectives
  • You speak German and English fluently. French is a big plus.
