We are building cutting-edge software to identify and analyze the exposure to climate change of publicly traded companies. Your key responsibilities

We are looking for a sharp, energetic and organized person to join our Climate Risk Center Software Engineering team in the Zurich office. We are looking for someone who deeply cares about environmental issues and who thrives in a fast-paced, fun and complex environment.

  • Work closely with other development team members, and other stakeholders
  • Implement, test and document enhancements to our web-based climate change computation framework
  • Plan and build scalable, integrated technology solutions across the company
  • Communicate complex topics in a simple way to internal and external stakeholders not familiar with the topics
  • Employ agile development and rapid prototyping techniques
  • Promote best engineering practices to ensure quality assurance
  • Anticipate options and adapt to new opportunities

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • 4 or more years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience or knowledge in Python & Scalable web frameworks
  • Deep interest in scalable web frameworks, API solutions, data quality management, computational models or project management are a plus
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Communication skills and ability to work as part of a multi-cultural and geographically distributed team
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and showing and a drive towards delivery
