(2020: Zürich area), we are looking as soon as possible for a strong planning specialist as:


Demand and Supply Planner for portfolio transformation project 100% (6-9 months fixed-term)



Overall Responsibility

This is an integrated / combined function of Supply Planning and Management of Inventory and Product Availability to meet customer requirements of Zentiva in Switzerland, supporting an important transformation project for the whole skus portfolio. This temporary position is newly created as addition to support the existing team.


Main Accountabilities and Duties

  • Support planning and product availability, with monitoring and management of inventory levels
  • Provide input on replenishment plans for graphic chain design, manufacturing, vendors and converters
  • Manage a distribution plan including replenishment release
  • Manage obsolescence process: evaluate stocks with short shelf-life and blocked stocks, analyze reasons for provisions and destructions, anticipate action plans to avoid destructions
  • Handle phase in / phase out of skus
  • Coordinate packaging variations: track and maintain scheduling process and implementation into production on time



Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Educated to Degree Level or equivalent and demonstrated experience in supply planning
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory control and planning systems
  • Very good knowledge in SAP and APO
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, excellent Excel skills
  • Act precisely, priority-oriented under pressure and to deadlines even under time constraints
  • Fluency in German and English, other languages are welcome
  • APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certified - Desirable
