senseFly, the world’s leading manufacturer of professional fixed-wing mapping drone solutions, is looking for a Content and Social Media Strategist to develop compelling B2B marketing content for distribution across our digital marketing channels, with a specific focus on content that meets the needs of current and prospective clients at all stages of the marketing funnel.

This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Concept, develop, write and build an editorial calendar with highly engaging B2B and B2C marketing content (web and social) that informs every stage of the customer journey to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic and promoting lead generation. All content must be well-researched, fact-checked, fulfill a specific marketing objective and be optimized for SEO.
  • Develop an array of content types, including—but not limited to—technical case studies, whitepapers, web copy, byline articles, blog and social media posts, etc.
  • Edit content when required to ensure that brand consistency, best practices and writing styles are abided by; continually audit content and work across departments to improve and iterate on marketing material.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop website, lead generation, email and/or other paid media advertising, to unify brand voice and tone, as needed.
  • Use relevant industry best practices as well as appropriate data analytics tools to help guide content and marketing strategy across platforms.
  • Comprehend complex business requirements and objectives.
  • Stay on top of digital trends, emerging technologies and new tools to generate new ideas and continually improve and maintain senseFly’s leading industry position.
  • Actively participate in meetings with relevant internal and external stakeholders, representing the marketing team where necessary, and respond effectively to questions relating to allocated areas of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with strategy and BD leads when copywriting and direct marketing expertise is required, to create content and contribute to strategy for various sales and/or marketing initiatives.

Desired skills and experience

  • 5 years of writing, reporting or digital copy-writing and a clear passion for it. Past agency experience is considered a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, Communications, or Marketing.
  • Demonstrated industry knowledge of how content evolves across devices and platforms.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment—with close attention to detail.
  • Strong, communication and written skills; you’re a creative thinker and self-starter; both an independent worker and a collaborative team player.
  • Experience and passion in developing high-quality, data-backed and engaging content that helps consumers find value and preference in a brand and product.
  • Proven ability for developing a variety of marketing automation from targeted emails to drip campaigns that engage segmented audiences and encourage action.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing fundamentals.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of basic geospatial principles and drone applications.
  • English native/fluent required, however other languages (Spanish, Portuguese, and French) are a plus!
  • Hands on experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation software is preferred.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at senseFly’s office in Cheseaux-Sur-Lausanne.
