Job Description:


Responsible for the strategic input, commercial lead and global marketing plan articulation and delivery of 1/ a new major Life Cycle Initiative (LCI) on our leading fertility product Menopur and 2/ market growth & access initiatives for Reproductive Medicine. This includes:

- engaging and launching with the countries and regions Ferring’s most important company initiative

- expanding the market through better access, new technologies and new go to market models

- providing commercial input/ direction to the commercial assessment of business development opportunities

- representing Global Marketing in all required multidisciplinary project teams including chairing the Global Commercial Launch Team to ensure clear and consistent commercial strategies and commercial implementation.

Responsibilities and duties:

· Leads optimal Menopur LCI pre-launch planning ensuring engagement, communication, and alignment of strategies and tactics with regional & country organizations and across functions (Medical, Regulatory, TechOps)

· Consistently leverages the latest Ferring launch platforms and processes.

· Leads launch and post-launch orchestration & implementation, maximizing the uptake of Menopur LCI and the Menopur portfolio share, contributing to achieving Ferring’s vision of leadership in Reproductive Medicine.

· Develops targeted deliverables which are part of the pre-launch & launch Integrated Plan. Such deliverables may include promotional campaigns, multi-channel activities, congresses, commercial symposia, interactions with major professional societies, and other value-adding activities. For all activities, influence/ support key markets and regions to ensure appropriate implementation at a local level.

· Leads the strategic thinking and global coordination of all market growth plans, i.e. activities which grow the number of patients and make fertility care accessible to more potential parents: awareness campaigns, policies & regulations, new diagnostic technologies, simplified fertility solutions…

· Collaborates with Global Business Development in the identification, assessment and eventual acquisition of business development opportunities directly impacting market access and growth (e.g. new technologies).

· Facilitates the sharing of best practices across teams and regions.

· Contributes to senior executive teams reviews and decisions.

Required Experience & Competences:

· Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with emphasis on both strategy & delivery, covering both marketing and sales, with at least one proven successful launch with direct proven contribution

· Exceptional team and people engagement skills

· Experience/ a track record in a global or regional setting

· Ability to build and lead teams effectively in a matrix environment

· Strong medical understanding in Reproductive Medicine

· Strong presentation and written communication skills

· Bachelor’s degree level in Business/ Marketing and/or Science but relevant experience supersedes education requirement

· Fluent in English, outstanding English writing skills and preferably a sound knowledge of another language
