Main duties

Selecta is creating millions of moments of joy and happiness through our best in class client service every day. To support this great purpose, we are creating a central team, which works with passion and in close collaboration with the countries. To strengthen the team in our HQ in Steinhausen (ZG), we’re searching for a Head of Real Estate & Facilities.

Creating a real estate portfolio strategy and implement standards across the 14 countries, is the main goal of this role. By building up strong partnerships with the different stakeholders, the Head of Real Estate will be essential in shaping the future workplace for our employees.

Objectives of this Role
  • Provide a real estate portfolio strategy, which supports our goals as a Group and creates a great work environment for our employees
  • Develop & implement standardized/best practice facility management and project management processes to create long-term efficiencies
  • Build up a strong network with key partners throughout the Company to ensure that facility goals are achieved


  • Analyze current real estate portfolio and development of a strategy
  • Implement best facility management practices across the Group
  • Manage cost and if needed renegotiate current contracts
  • Build a network across the different functions such as HR, Finance, IT, Procurement and Corporate Branding, to ensure the future workplace needs are met
Professional competence
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar field
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience with focus on: facility management, design and workplace strategy as well as securing building maintenance
  • Proven track record in working in cross functional teams
  • English on a professional working proficiency is a must; any other language knowledge is an advantage
  • Pragmatic and hands-on person, who can make a direct impact
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, highly structured and organized
  • Good communicator and strong negotiation skills are a must for this role
