Product Manager, Ecommerce (80-100%)

In our Ecommerce team we provide our customers value through instant delivery of food and non-food products by leveraging our broad network of physical point-of-sales. This requires rethinking of existing logistic processes, category management and store operations. As a Product Manager in the Ecommerce vertical you will be responsible to bring products from the piloting phase to scaled roll-out and drive the development of new online businesses and features.
- Set the mission, vision, strategy, and goals for products within the Ecommerce vertical
- Work on the product process through all phases: from writing specs and creating wireframes, to calculating a business case and defining go-to-market strategy
- Represent your projects and priorities inside and outside the company, including to all levels of company leadership
- Collaborate with engineering, design, legal, marketing and business teams to ship new products, features and projects on time and on budget
- Gather, review, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to uncover new insights, customer needs as well as business requirements
- Drive and fuel the "innovation engine" within the Ecommerce vertical
- Minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in consulting, startups or tech companies
- Passionate building great products with world class user experiences
- Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
- Empathy for customers and intuition for developing online businesses that solve their needs
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and good spoken and written communication skills in German
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to think outside the box / envision a world different than the status quo
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a renowned university
- Experience with the Shopify platform and well versed in assessing, implementing, and using leading analytics and marketing apps (Shopify) or tools
- Extensive understanding of retail Ecommerce landscape, including "best practice" features and functionality
- Understanding of web technology fundamentals, including mobile and app
- Experience with UI/UX and wireframing for mobile, web or desktop applications
