In this challenging and exciting role, part of our Business Solutions team at our headquarters in Zurich-Altstetten, you will own and manage the bank's client onboarding and product underwriting solutions from a business perspective (business owner). You will be working closely with commercial and enabling functions to provide business solutions and services and drive the improvement and stability of the bank's originations services.
Product Owner Originations Solutions
  • Product owner of the bank's client onboarding and product originations business applications for Cards, Private Loans and Leasing products
  • End to end responsible for the respective business products and services incl. their design, definition, daily operation, roadmap, continuous improvement and TCO 
  • Ensure agreed SLAs are met for business service availability and performance of the client onboarding and originations solutions 
  • Observe and study the market and look for solutions that meet the current and future needs and support the commercial units to meet their targets
  • Translate business needs to business requirements, design digital and business solutions and collaborate with IT, Architecture and Process Engineering for their implementation
  • Promote and advertise new concepts and ideas in close collaboration with business units, Strategy & Architecture and IT
  • Work in bank-wide projects as the product owner of the client onboarding and origination solutions taking decisions related to the business products you are responsible 
  • Provide expert support in cases of functional incidents or where IT teams require support for technical incidents
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, Business Service Managers, IT application managers and external third parties, acting as the owner and subject matter expert of the business products you are responsible


  • A technical or business management degree and work experience in the financial sector (banking, credit finance or payments are prefarable) with focus on client onboarding and product origination
  • Understanding of SW development lifecycle, product design, dependencies and tradeoffs
  • Experience and sound understanding of service management and experience developing product roadmaps and identifying new market trends to explore
  • Experience in waterfall and agile scrum methodologies as a product owner 
  • Able to understand requirements from a holistic view and experience in breaking them down into user stories
  • Excellent analytical, network- and conceptual thinking, with high technology and digital affinity
  • Has a hands on mentality, is a team player and is easy to interact with 
  • Customer focused, service oriented personality and proven ability to bridge between functional and technical teams
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence business partners at all levels
  • Fluent in English and German
