SUSI Partners is a Swiss infrastructure fund manager specialising in clean energy infrastructure investments. The firm manages EUR 1.5 billion in investor commitments across six funds focused on opportunities in clean energy generation, energy efficiency enhancements, and energy storage and integrated solutions. With a successful track record of more than 100 transactions in 20 countries to date, SUSI Partners seeks to achieve attractive, stable and uncorrelated returns, while contributing to global climate targets by reducing CO2 emissions. 

We are looking to add a highly motivated Investment professional to our Investment team, ready and motivated to take on this engaging role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment and execution of clean energy infrastructure opportunities globally with a particular focus on energy storage opportunities initially
  • Coordinating and supervising the qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment opportunities
  • Supporting origination efforts to maintain an attractive investment pipeline
  • Proactive coordination of external advisers and internal teams to deliver on project plans
  • Leading due diligence work streams, transaction documentation and overall transaction execution for proposed investments
  • Preparation of investment committee materials, financial analyses, internal memoranda and other transaction documents
  • Supporting the ongoing management activities to enhance value and mitigate investment risks
  • Representing SUSI in dealing with external parties

Your Profile

  • Relevant experience in an infrastructure- and/or clean energy-related investment role
  • Exceptional academic credentials in the area of business or economics with a focus on finance
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to build and review complex financial models, review and structure own work, and draw logical conclusions from their output
  • Mastery of relevant corporate finance (valuation, budgeting, cost of capital etc.) and accounting (financial statements, accrual vs. cash etc.) concepts
  • Understanding of legal aspects relevant to M&A transactions
  • Experience in managing transaction processes, including supporting negotiations and coordinating due diligence processes
  • Ability to oversee and understand complex and interdependent work streams, setting the right priorities and deadlines, constructively influencing others to deliver on agreed objectives
  • Sound and reasoned commercial judgment of main risks and opportunities arising out of deal characteristics
  • Ability to consolidate complex and large amounts of information into a focused deal rationale, creating and maintaining a consistent logic
  • Proactive approach to building relevant industry and adviser networks to support deal origination efforts
  • Constructive and collaborative approach, works well within teams and looks to identify optimal solutions for all stakeholders
  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills; fluent in English, other European languages are a plus
