The Role:

The Executive & Department Assistant supports top level executives by providing executive level administrative support, receiving clients and visitors, arranging travel and correspondence, scheduling and organizing various international meetings and internal events. Most importantly, the ideal candidate creates a fun environment for the team with various celebrations and team activities and will work with other Switzerland Office Assistants to support Logitech initiatives locally.

This role will report to the Head of Creativity & Productivity global business group.  The position is based in Lausanne.

Provide personal administrative support and assistance to executive staff

  • Manage and maintain executives' schedules, appointments and travel arrangements.

  • Assist with expense reports of C&P leadership team if necessary.

  • Arrange and coordinate regular meetings and/or ad hoc events.

  • Arrange and lead internal events in Switzerland or other countries.

  • Organize team engagement activities.

  • Record, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings if necessary.

  • Receive and interact with incoming visitors.

  • Liaise with internal staff at all levels.

  • Interact with external clients.

  • Coordinate project-based work.

  • Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary

  • Coordinate logistics, agenda, evening dinners and/or party, goodies, etc.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Usually at least 5 years of experience in international environment providing support at a high level.

  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures.

  • Basic finance and accounting knowledge and understanding.

  • Fluent in English and French, written and spoken, and any additional language is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Very good communication skills, capable to adapt communication style to the audience.

  • Strong organizational & planning skills, attention to detail and focus on accuracy and quality.

  • Flexible, able to handle changes and pressure.

  • Able to analyse problems and bring creative solutions.

  • Proactive, able to take initiatives.

  • Reliable,  trustworthy.

  • Good judgment and decision-making ability.

  • Minimum willingness to travel (10%).
