Responsibilities
- Managing office IT equipment - provisioning, configuring, troubleshooting, replacing, liaising with third parties
- Documenting both new and established procedures to establish and promote best practices throughout the company
- Manage the full lifecycle of new and existing hardware - sell, retire, decommission
- Provide office support and hardware support with a strong focus on end user satisfaction
- Manage rack cabinets of network equipment and servers - cabling, cleaning, replacing, racking
- Monitor current infrastructure and work to resolve issues with both software and hardware
- Develop current and new pipelines for automation software tasks
Requirements
- IT related education or experience
- Hands-on experience (or good manual skills) with cabling, racking and installation of bare metal servers, networking devices and network cards (HP, Cisco)
- Understanding of the Linux operating system at an entry administration level (Debian, CentOS)
- Experience or good general knowledge of Windows troubleshooting (AD, logs, services)
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn programming (Python, Bash)
- Understanding of automated provisioning tools (PXE, Foreman) a plus
- Good general IT technical skills
- This position requires physical presence and is on-site (no remote working)
