Key Account Manager

Job description:

As a Key Account Manager your primary responsibility will be to establish new relationships and expand our business network of key accounts (Key Pharmacies, Key practice grou ps, Covendos , etc. ) in order to develop our business within Switzerland , identifying decision-makers at the client, understanding strategic business challenges and priorities, and analysing information to prioritize opportunities critical to an account.
In addition, your tasks will also be to:

  • Develop short and medium-range strategies and business plans to achieve overall business objectives
  • Identify and cultivate new strategic opportunities, negotiate deals, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Achieve strategic and tactical sales targets within channels and contribute to regional and national goals
  • Maintain constructive collaboration with cross-functional colleagues and effectively implement action plans aligned with company initiatives
  • Participate actively in internal meetings, lead national initiatives, maintain professional relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), analyse sales data, and uphold Novo Nordisk's integrity

Required profile:

  • Paramedical, medical, scientific or management education
  • Proven experience preferably in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) , pharmaceutical, life sciences or healthcare industries
  • Several years of Sales or Key Account Management experience in the lifescience industry , pharma would be a plus
  • Languages: German fluent, English fluent, French (desirable)
