Accounting Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Define and implement streamlined procedures to enhance operational efficiency and diminish manual workload.
- Identify areas for enhancement and optimize financial processes, reinforce reporting capabilities, and propel automation and digitization.
- Instigate a mindset shift by effectively communicating the vision, benefits, and objectives of various initiatives. Develop and execute training programs and communication strategies to ensure the smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
- Oversee a range of projects within our Finance organization, spanning from minor short-term assignments to a work stream within a more intricate initiative
- Work closely with finance leaders, business partners, and other cross-functional teams to comprehend their requirements, collect feedback, and align with their needs.
- Guarantee the implementation of group standards and/or establish new group standards as necessary.
Profile:
- Bachelor/Master's degree in a finance/accounting-related field
- Extensive experience within the Group accounting or Group reporting team of a complex, multinational corporation
- Possess a continuous learning mindset and a passion for processes and technology
- Driven by success, self-motivated, and prepared to shoulder responsibility
- Problem-solving attitude with the ability to make independent decisions to ensure the delivery of proper solutions
- Excellent management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities, organizing work, and meeting deadlines
- Strong team spirit with a demonstrated ability to work in and with multi-site teams
- Effective communication skills to exert proper influence within the organization for project delivery
- Good understanding of accounting systems
- Proficient understanding of Reporting & consolidation systems
- Advanced command of spoken and written English
