We offer companies and public organizations a diversified range of services related to purchasing, in particular the costs optimization of direct and indirect spends and the reinforcement of the maturity of the purchasing organization.
Our clients are both SMEs and large international companies with their subsidiaries, based in Switzerland and in bordering countries.

We are currently looking for a Strategic Buyer (m/f/x) to supplement the Procurement Department of one of our clients. This client is a global sports organisation, committed to promoting sport in society, strengthening the integrity of sport and supporting clean athletes and other sports organisations.

The position is for a 3 to 6-month temporary contract, full time. The candidate will be recruited by Melioris and will work as part of the client's team.

Strategic Buyer (m/f/x)

Stand-in / temporary

• 3 to 7 years of proven experience in procurement
• Experience in indirect procurement desired
• Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholders management skills required
• Languages: French and English required

• Support strategic or tactical procurement activities: work with the Department's Business Partners and external suppliers in executing end to end competitive bid events or other sourcing projects
• Possibly:
  
  • procurement administration (facilitate review and approvals of largest value transactions and contracts, suppliers setup), help further improve this working process
  • take on projects or activities as assigned by the Head of Procurement

• Type of contract: temporary position, 3 to 6 months renewable
• Full-time position
• Location: Lausanne, 2 days of remote work allowed 
• Start date: ASAP
