Our client develops, manufactures and globally sells systems for highly efficient deployment of cables and counts around 200 employees. His core markets are in telecommunication and energy networks. Proven outstanding technologies ensure the deployment of broadly diversified cable types, e.g. both in the field of low weight (Fiber Optic and Coaxial) and of high weight (copper for energy transmission) cabling. Member of the Management Team

You fully manage the R+D department at its main site with some 20 engineers in mechanical engineering, electrical hardware and software development. In addition, you will be responsible for a team of engineers in Germany and the United States. Beside your responsibility for development and project management, your scope will include Application Engineering, Simulation Technology, Technical Writing and Validation. In this position, you will be a member of the management team.

Your basis is a university level degree in Engineering from ETH / TU / FH, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, and a proven practice in the development of integrated systems including electronics and software. Your career includes some years of management experience in an international environment. Capital goods and B2B are your world. As a convincing and dedicated leader with ambition, commitment, persistence and farsightedness, you are well prepared to motivate and develop your team, both on the technical and the human side. You communicate in German, French and English on a professional level. Your traveling activity of 10-15 % will be a well-received enrichment in activities.
