The Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (www.sakk.ch) is the cancer research network in Switzerland and employs over 80 people at the Competence Center of SAKK. In line with our vision “We bring progress to cancer care”, we have been conducting clinical trials in oncology as a non-profit organization since 1965

Your tasks:

• You are responsible for managing the study applications from the SAKK research groups.
• You support the doctors in developing new study ideas and evaluating new study applications (design, budget, accrual)
• You represent the SAKK coordination center as a contact person in the research groups and manage the study applications for the internal evaluations.
• You are responsible for the writing of international or national SAKK study protocols.
• You are responsible for the project management of the study development; you create project plans, monitor the specified project goals (milestones) and timelines, recognize the project risks and are responsible for their elimination
• You ensure efficient and timely activation of studies, including all necessary documents and contracts
• You are the central contact person and point of contact for the study director, the involved investigators, sponsors, pharmaceutical companies and authorities during the entire development phase

Who you are:

• Medical or scientific degree (e.g., biology, biochemistry, or pharmacy)
• Experience in the development of clinical trials
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment, including current national and international legislation and guidelines
• Customer-oriented mindset, combined with good networking skills.
• Proactive, team oriented and resilient leader with assertiveness, self-motivation and focus on solutions.
• Strong organizational awareness and understanding of change management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, full working proficiency in German or French – with limited proficiency in French or German
