Job Beschreibung
As part of Ferring’s strategy to strengthen its portfolio of Biologics, your mission will be to set up a new cell culture laboratory for process development, implement technical documentation in compliance with good scientific practices, participate in the development of a new biological, including process development, technology transfer, characterization and validation.
Main responsibilities:
  • Setting up of new laboratory equipment
  • Participate in the planning of cell culture experiments
  • Writing of Batch records/SOPs/Protocols/Reports
  • Execution of experiments: mammalian cell culture technology/lab scale bioreactors/sample analysis
  • Participate in the evaluation of scientific data
  • Coordination of laboratory activities
  • Coach and guide junior scientists or technicians in the planning and the execution of their work
  • Implement lean tools in the lab such as 5s at the bench
  • Be accountable for lab area and equipment. Make sure that equipment is maintained and calibrated. Make sure that stock of chemicals/consumables is at right level
  • Ensure good safety behaviour for yourself and others
Required Experience & Competences:
  • Master’s Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related Life Science degree
  • Strong expertise in cell culture technology, lab scale bioreactor setup and monitoring
  • Cell banking experience is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in USP Development of Biologics
  • Experience with monoclonal antibody
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in French and English
  • Work independently and adapt easily to changing work environment
