Global Operations Controller
The ideal candidate will:
Steer and control financially the global supply chain across various production locations

The Controller will have primary and direct responsibility for the financial analysis and planning activities for the various production locations, internal controls, reporting of financial results, compliance and remediation of any identified issues

The Controller will ensure the accuracy and integrity of manufacturing costs and inventory within the business, forecast, provide accurate causal analysis and identify actionable plans to alleviate issues or drive financial performance

Prepare the monthly closing and forecasting of the Operations result and present them to the management team. Support and monitor management in addressing operational issues of the business, including identifying corrective action plans

Align and steer all intercompany material flows between the production locations including transfer price setting

Develop and improve existing processes and systems (SAP, B1, Forecasting, Reporting)

Be a sparring partner to the Operations Director and support him in executing global efficiency and supply chain projects. Provide and interpret independent analyses of current and future business cases and serve as a strategic business partner providing valuable input to the strategic direction of the operating unit

Supervise dotted line reports across various geographical locations
Attributes:
University degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration ideally with focus on controlling (University or FH)

Minimum of five years' experience in an operations controlling role with a multinational production company

Working experience in a complex industrial organization is mandatory to adapt to the client's requirements

Solid experience in Project Management

Excellent PC skills required including Excel, PowerPoint & Word - experience in working with SAP ERP-System is needed

Business fluent in English - strong presentation and communication skills required

Deadline & business driven with the ability to work independently, a conceptional and keen mindset for identifying business issues

Critical thinking and analytical skills with excellent attention to quality and detail

Open-minded team player who is able to manage a highly versatile and multicultural team
