Our Financial Advisory team is looking for you!

Our dedicated and award winning Restructuring, Integration and Separation Advisory Team (RISA) offers our clients advice on mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, operational diligence, value capture and restructuring. In our team, we have experts providing overall (IT-related) integration or separation programme advisory, but also providing in depth expertise on Technology implications related to a deal or value creation project.

Our IT M&A specialists play a key role in solving for and delivering complex M&A IT due diligence-, integration- and separation projects, advising our clients on maximizing the value and offsetting the risks of technology in M&A transactions. We support them from deal origination to post-deal completion, assisting them with both transaction priorities and future growth ambitions.

What you can expect from us 

  • Part of the leading M&A RISA team in Switzerland: Work on challenging M&A projects, either within a larger team or on smaller engagements;
  • Work on challenging projects from the pre-deal stage to deal closing, Day 100 and post-deal completion
  • Support clients through complex M&A environments resulting from acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs and restructuring projects;
  • Work across several industries including our primary focus areas of life sciences, financial services, and consumer products;
  • Work in international teams with very professional and like-minded colleagues: Engage in and manage business development activities, marketing initiatives and practice development activities.
  • Develop and broaden your network: Work together with other parts of the company or other member firms outside of Switzerland.

Your qualifications 

  • A university degree and a minimum of 5+ years related work experience in consulting or a corporate environment;
  • Experience of the M&A lifecycle, and solid understanding of key financial concepts as well as IT's role in the overall transaction lifecycle - from due diligence and preparing for Day 1 through to the conclusion/exit of the TSAs

Experience in at least four of the below mentioned areas:

  • Developing and reviewing IT (Vendor) Due Diligence/Vendor Assistance reports;
  • IT cost modelling, such as identification of IT synergies, stand-alone-, one-off- and ongoing costs, and separation costs;
  • Defining a deal perimeter from the IT perspective;
  • Understanding of Day 1 readiness and working with dashboards, trackers and checklists;
  • Leading an IT-specific workstream in an integration or separation project, providing advice to senior business stakeholders (e.g. Infrastructure workstream);
  • Developing detailed functional blueprint documentation;
  • Planning and execution of IT integrations/separa
    tions (Day 1, Day 2 readiness)
  • Developing of IT migration plans;
  • Drafting the TSA schedules, TSA Exit-plans and defining TSA-exit costs from the IT perspective;
  • Standing-up and running the PMO/TMO for IT activity coordination, support and monitoring.
