Responsibilities
- Implement GWES Facilities Management strategies and priorities at the site level.
- Ensure compliance and coordination of GWES projects on site.
- Develop and manage a sustainability and reliability program aligned with company goals.
- Align GWES strategies with client business strategies.
- Lead and oversee the implementation of global engineering standards and programs at the WAG site.
- Serve as the main contact for site stakeholders regarding engineering standards and coordination with quality and safety standards.
- Be an expert in internal engineering standards and national regulatory requirements.
- Manage project execution in compliance with procurement policies and engineering standards.
- Oversee safety programs for project execution, including MOC and safety checklists.
- Handle financial management and control of projects, including capital planning.
- Collaborate with the external IFM provider to ensure project execution.
- Implement a lifecycle asset management program to assess asset condition and replacement priority.
- Develop improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance and energy management.
- Lead workshops and innovation events to drive improvements.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance processes and root cause analysis.
- Lead the GENIUS program for energy improvement at the WAG site.
- Develop a net-zero carbon transition plan for the WAG site.
- Promote energy efficiency initiatives and support ESG goals for achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
- Support site clients in understanding GWES priorities, strategies, and projects.
- Initiate actions to add value through innovation and operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and engineering standards among site stakeholders and the external IFM provider.
- Represent the engineering department in compliance programs.
- Support internal and external compliance audits.
Requirements
- Experience in implementing global engineering standards and programs.
- Knowledge of internal engineering standards and national regulatory requirements.
- Project management skills, including financial management and cost control.
- Experience in leading and managing safety programs.
- Knowledge of lifecycle asset management and reliability engineering.
- Experience in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate with external providers and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in conducting workshops and innovation events.
- Ability to promote a culture of safety, quality, and engineering standards.
