Your newresponsibilities
- Act as a technical expert in the role of team architect for a central platform service in the building twin value stream
- Drive the creation of a functional architecture for our products in the field of building technology
- Handle the technical implementation of concepts for distributed systems
- Verify and validate the concepts in line with technical and commercial realities
- Ensure a central platform service operates safely and reliably
- Contribute your technical expertise in communities of practice
- Deal with operation and automation issues concerning tools such as Ansible, Terraform and CI/CD
- Collaborate closely on a global scale with international colleagues in Europe and other continents
- We work with agile methods like big room planning, strive towards a dev ops approach, and focus on automation and improving our workflows
Your talents and experience
- An academic degree in information science or a related field
- Knowledge of cloud native software development tools such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, Git - ideally you bring along full stack development experience
- Development language: experience with golang is a plus
- Experience in building continuous delivery pipelines in cloud environments is highly advantageous. Understanding of agile, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code is strongly desired.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating in global teams and effectively presenting ideas and concepts to other stakeholders
- Expertise in data streaming and timeseries databases, e.g. DynamoDB, Kinesis Data Stream, SQS, SNS, Apache Kafka (AWS MKS)
- Knowledge of OAuth2, APIs and protocols such as WebSockets or MQTT
- Fluent English skills and committed to learning German upon starting, if not already proficient in the language
