Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the IT and data security strategy, governance framework, and security roadmap for our global financial platform, which is based on SAP S/4 HANA, BW/4 HANA, and SAS.
- Oversee secure platform operations, including IAM, SOC, CIS, and Incident Response, while ensuring service availability through business continuity management, disaster recovery capabilities, and data security measures.
- Collaborate closely with management, IT teams, and other stakeholders to optimize security measures and align them with organizational goals.
- Drive the evolution of our group-wide security strategy and services, evaluating, conceptualizing, and implementing security initiatives in coordination with the group risk management and group IT board.
- Ensure compliance with risk management specifications outlined in the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Provide consolidated reporting on digital operational resilience, presenting KPI/KRI data on security, controls, backup, restore, and testing.
- Offer technical and functional guidance for the ongoing development of the financial platform, as well as for group-wide initiatives integrating IT security considerations.
- Partner with external experts and service providers to conduct security testing, assessments, and monitoring. Derive actionable measures and oversee their implementation.
- Continuous education in security or certifications such as CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CISSP, along with a solid grasp of the CIS Control Framework.
- Proficiency in contemporary cloud and security infrastructures, platforms, and SaaS solutions (e.g., SAP S/4 HANA, Azure, AWS, M365).
- Substantial professional experience and current knowledge in information and cyber security, possibly gained through roles as a security architect, security engineer, or CISO.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively, paired with excellent methodical, planning, and implementation skills. Possess a hands-on mentality, project management abilities, and a methodical approach.
- Effective collaboration across business divisions, adept interaction with customers, management, and executive boards within demanding service environments, particularly in crisis management scenarios.
- Solution-oriented mindset, analytical-conceptual capabilities, and a drive for results.
- Proficiency in both English and German as working languages.
