Tableau Specialist/Administrator
- Be a part of the Tableau Center of Enablement Team.
- Play a key role in operating and improving our data analytics and visualization platform.
- Advise on our analytics platform strategy and deployment.
- Consult with business and IT stakeholders to architect and implement an analytics environment that fits our requirements.
- Monitor our servers and give advice to Tableau dashboard developers.
- Develop and implement platform maintenance automation scripts.
- Evaluate our internal stakeholders’ data dashboards for performance best practices.
- Propagate and implement best practices for visual analytics.
- Lead critical outage troubleshooting efforts for our Tableau Server.
- Lead analytics modernization efforts and improve data literacy across the company.
- Degree in IT or Finance or quantitative field with more than 5 years working experience.
- Practical experience in Tableau Server (server management, application configuration, security controls, performance tuning and optimization, troubleshooting and support).
- Advanced Tableau Desktop skills (development, performance, and visual best practices).
- Experience in ETL tools (Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Dataiku or others).
- Experience in scripting with CLI and REST API.
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Soft skills, including project management, consulting, whiteboarding and presentation for technical and business audiences from analyst to executive level.
- Tableau certifications are a plus.
- Open minded and with high attention to detail.
- A curious person, with an analytical and structured mindset.
- A team player, keen to deliver on time and in high quality.
- Pro-active and willing to question status quo.
- Well organized and with a disciplined approach to work.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus).
