Financial Accounting & Tax Manager
You will be a Partner to our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Business Service Organization (BSO), to ensure proper accounting. Accountable for timely, complete, and accurate financial statements and tax returns.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing local statutory reporting, governance, Board & Shareholder’s resolutions, Financial Statements, Audits, Tax reporting and other statutory reporting and filings.
- Monitoring changes in Finnish Accounting Act and Ordinance, company act and taxation.
- Ensuring Tax controlling, that booked taxes are in compliance with VAT Law, Corporate Tax Law, Local property tax Law and other Tax Laws.
- Proactively preventing tax issues, liaising with Group Finance to resolve different complex problems in area of taxes, supporting Tax Audits, and maintaining relationships with Tax and Government institutions.
- Liaising with BSO to ensure accuracy and completeness for:
> Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Travel & Expenses, Cash, General Ledgers, Payroll, Excise Tax, CIT and VAT, Intrastat. > Bill Of Materials processes & costing activities.
> Intercompany transactions, including changes as needed where the company is a counterparty.
- Assessing and validating bottler’s prices and contribute to price negotiations with service providers and vendors.
- Monitoring the company’s banking arrangements, to be consistent with CCHBC policies and procedures and ensure appropriate bank reconciliations are in place.
- Managing internal controls over the company’s books and financial reporting in line with CCHBC policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with external and internal auditors, consultants, legal advisors, external manufacturing stakeholders and other relevant counterparties.
- Supporting changes to systems (SAP, EMCS etc) basic data and functionality due to statutory requirements changes or Group initiatives.
- Managing local payroll service provider and ensuring accuracy of payroll costs.
- Managing direct reports and ensuring developmental plans are executed.
- Supporting ad hoc reports and projects as the need arises.
- Strong knowledge of Tax and Accounting (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA or equivalent, qualification is an asset).
- 10 years of professional in similar position; experience in Assurance/Tax in Big 4 or other professional consultancy would be considered as an asset.
- In depth financial knowledge: key finance indicators, their drivers, macroeconomic & external influences and ability to quickly grasp ever changing environment.
- Stakeholder management, specially focused on BSO and audit.
- Able to translate business reality to accounting entries and financial statements.
- Proficiency in both Finnish and English.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook (SAP working knowledge would be considered an asset)
