IT Service Owner (m/w), 100%
The IT Service Owner is the first point of contact for Operations, Support, Maintenance and overarching service lifecycle related questions:
Manage the operating model to ensure support levels and effort sharing of operational tasks, as part of the operating model, the IT Service Owner directly ensures the provisioning of 3rd level support
Aligns with providers and infrastructure in respect to lifecycle for IT Service: Planning and Execution
Continuously improve the service availability, performance, capacity & knowledge management
Responds to risk related matters such as audits, access rights controls and annual risk assessments. Manages risk mitigation actions and pipeline of technical debts
During delivery of new features, the IT Service Owner
Consults stakeholders with regards to sustainability and operation-readiness of the delivery and provides non-functional requirements, their test cases and is responsible for validation
Aligns with delivery team and release management for deployments into User Acceptance Testing and Production environments.
Acts as gatekeeper for any change in the IT Service, as such decides with stakeholders on production readiness from IT perspective: Provide Go / No Go recommendation for IT Service Changes
Note: IT Service means the logical Service including one to many corresponding applications
Your profile:
Education BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Valid work permit for CH/EU
Agile certificates are a plus
System Engineering of SW Engineering skills on JAVA technology stack with Oracle and JBoss
Good understanding of SOAP web service technologies and Flowable Packaged or Open Source preferrable
Proven expertise in: Business Rule Management (modelling, management and implementation)
Beneficial: Senior java developer background
Team player, strong collaborator with the ability to take ownership and communicate on different levels/stakeholders
Ability to analyze complex problems related to the applications and to seek and provide solutions with minimal guidance from the superiors
Thinking end 2 end, connecting the dots, understanding the “user journey”
Understanding of IT-/business processes in the area of technical expertise
Commitment with drive and passion for delivering high quality solutions with reasonable amount of effort
Strong organizational skills, well-structured and reliable
Sound understanding of agile methodologies (preferably SAFe) and DevOps
