Our client is seeking a Junior/Senior R&D Power Electronics Engineer. Join and play a role in innovative projects!

Your challenges

• Lead system design, specification, testing, and qualification of components for a new MV frequency converter family within the MV Drives R&D team.
• Involved in all stages from conceptual design to final validation, with a focus on MV component qualification and collaboration with key suppliers.
• Contribute to maintaining and advancing Power Electronics Technologies Expertise within the team.

Your skills

• University Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering, specializing in Power Electronics with a focus on High Power and Medium Voltage applications.
• Substantial experience in Power Electronics System Design and Development, or equivalent, with expertise in High Power and Medium Voltage converters as an advantage.
• Proficient in modeling, simulation, and system design analysis using advanced tools.
• Strong interest in practical experimentation, testing, and validation in MV lab environments, contributing to the introduction of new products and functionalities to the market. Expertise in MV solutions and component qualification is desirable.
• Enthusiastic about applied research and development, self-organized, and motivated to work in a highly qualified team of experts.
• Solution-focused with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus.
