Junior Finance / Controlling Analyst

(maternity cover with option for a fix-term contract)

The challenge

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance/Controlling Analyst to join the dynamic SCTC finance team in Lausanne/Switzerland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with the finance team based in the US and gain exposure to international finance operations.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of various reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with the US finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Create and maintain financial models and dashboards to support SCTC’s activities as needed.
• Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.

What we are looking for

A proactive and dedicated personality who works well with others and a positive, uplifting attitude will fit best in this small team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field or a federal diploma with some years of experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with team members in the US and other locations
• Organizational skills combined with attention to detail but within established deadlines
• Strong analytical skills with ability to think quickly and logically
